Common keyboard shortcuts in Tinkercad
Tinkercad has LOTS of keyboard shortcuts. Some of these shortcuts are combinations of keys, some are keystrokes combines with mouse actions, and some enable you to make interface changes so that you can edit in 3D more efficiently and effectively.

How to copy and paste your designs between Tinkercad tabs
Sometimes, in your browser, you may have more than one Tinkercad tab open with multiple designs that you want to combine into one 3D model. You can use the Copy and Paste commands on the screen in the top left menu.

How to work with the Tinkercad iPad app
Do you own an Apple iPad? If you do, you can now download the Tinkercad app!
You can now take Tinkercad on the road with you and utilize the Augmented Reality (AR) features built into the app as well. You can use finger gestures or an Apple Pencil (2nd Generation), too, making the Tinkercad interface even more intuitive.

How to customize your shape libraries in Tinkercad
In the Tinkercad For Dummies publication, you get to use the Basic Shapes library. If you expand that library list by clicking on the dropdown menu, you see the Part Collection under the YOU section.
Clicking on Part Collection gives you the option to save selections from your design as reusable parts.
Simply select a part in your design and click on Create Part. You then can name your part, give it a description, and add appropriate tags. You can even lock down its scale if you need to.

Tinkercad is a free, online 3D modeling program that runs in a web browser, known for its simplicity and ease of use.[2] Since it became available in 2011 it has become a popular platform for creating models for 3D printing as well as an entry-level introduction to constructive solid geometry in schools.[3]

Tinkercad was founded as a company in 2010 in the European Union[4] by former Google engineer Kai Backman and his cofounder Mikko Mononen, with a goal to make 3D modeling, especially the design of physical items, accessible to the general public, and allow users to publish their designs under a Creative Commons license.[5] In 2011, the tinkercad.com website was launched as a web-based 3D modeling tool for WebGL-enabled browsers,[6] and in 2012 the company moved its headquarters to San Francisco.[7] By 2012 over 100,000 3D designs had been published by users.[7]
In May 2013, Autodesk announced at a Maker Faire that they would acquire Tinkercad.[8]

In March 2017, Autodesk recommend users, of the soon to be retired, 123D Sculpt migrate to Tinkercad (or Maya LT).[9] In May, the Autodesk discontinued its 123D Circuits (Circuits.io) 'Electronics Lab'. The programs features were merged it into Tinkercad.[10][11][12]

Tinkercad uses a simplified constructive solid geometry method of constructing models. A design is made up of primitive shapes that are either 'solid' or 'hole'. Combining solids and holes together, new shapes can be created, which in turn can be assigned the property of solid or hole.[5] In addition to the standard library of primitive shapes, a user can create custom shape generators using a built-in JavaScript editor.
Shapes can be imported in three formats: STL and OBJ for 3D, and 2-dimensional SVG shapes for extruding into 3D shapes. Tinkercad exports models in STL or OBJ formats, ready for 3D printing. Pdf to numbers converter 6 2 1 download free.
Tinkercad also includes a feature to export 3D models to Minecraft Java Edition,[13] and also offers the ability to design structures using Lego bricks.[14]
